Velocity shopping partner earn-methods
#1 – flybuys transfer
Velocity holds a strong relationship with their main shopping partner, flybuys. flybuys itself offers many earning partners, both under the Coles brand and beyond. The Velocity-flybuys partnership works via a simple points transfer. To transfer, you must link your Velocity account with your flybuys account online.
flybuys members can convert bundles of 2,000 flybuys points to 870 Velocity points. A calendar-year cap of 138,000 flybuys points applies per household (leaving you with a maximum of 60,030 Velocity points each year).

#2 – Velocity eStore
Velocity’s online eStore allows you to earn Velocity points at hundreds of Australia’s most popular online shopping retailers.
Firstly, let’s not get confused with using your Velocity points for items via the Velocity Rewards Store. The Velocity eStore is different. It’s a shopping hub, which automatically tracks your Velocity Frequent Flyer number, enabling points-earn at online shopping sites. Velocity frequently promotes Bonus Point deals at selected stores with up to 10 points per $1 spent on offer!
All this method requires is for you to log-in to your account. You must click-through from the Velocity eStore, as your Velocity membership number is tracked via the outgoing link to ensure you get your points!
What’s great about this method is that unless otherwise noted, you can take advantage of the retailer’s current sales and promotional codes on top of the Velocity Frequent Flyer points you’ll earn! Pay with a Velocity rewards credit card and you’ll open the door to earning even more points!
#3 – Link your Velocity membership number
It many cases, you’re required to opt-in or ‘link’ your account with a Velocity partner or store. Simply refer to the instructions provided.
For example, Energy Australia’s Velocity partnership requires you to simply add your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number to Energy Australia’s online account management page. You can then sit back, relax, and earn points on electricity and gas use!
Boost your earning with a Velocity rewards credit card
You can earn even more Velocity points on top on top of the three non-flight shopping partner methods above when you pay for purchases using a Velocity rewards credit card. Many rewards credit cards also have valuable points earning capacity for specific shopping categories or stores, so watch out for these offers!
As always, when you’re shopping with a credit card, look out for surcharges. These can contribute to the real cost of earning frequent flyer points.
